CPR/AED Training

This 2.5 to 3-hour class trains up to 10 employees and covers the basics of adult Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) use; as well as how to relieve choking on an adult (Heimlich Maneuver). Students also learn the warning signs of heart attacks, strokes and breathing difficulties in adults and children. Other CPR courses offered include Infant/Child and Adult/Infant/Child. A two-year course completion card is given at the end of the class.

First Aid 

This 3.5 hour class trains up to 10 employees in first aid basics (including scene safety, finding the problem, calling for help and more). Medical emergencies (including actions for choking, breathing problems, shock and more). Injury emergencies (including actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns and more) Environmental emergencies (including actions for bites and stings, temperature-related and poison emergencies). A two-year course completion card is given at the end of the class.

CPR/AED & Basic First Aid 

This 4-hour course trains up to ten employees, in Adult CPR along with foreign body airway obstruction (Heimlich Maneuver) as well as basic first aid procedures. A two-year course completion card is given at the end of the class for CPR/AED.

BLS Healthcare Provider Training

Initial course is 5 hours; renewal is 4. Up to 8 employees. Learn the critical concepts of high-quality CPR; the AHA Chain of Survival; 1-Rescuer CPR/AED for Adult/Child/Infant; 2-Rescuer CPR/AED for Adult/Child/Infant; Differences between Adult, Child and Infant rescue techniques; Bag-mask techniques for Adult, Child and Infant; Rescue breathing for Adult, Child and Infant; Relief of choking for Adult, Child and Infant; Intro to CPR with an Advanced Airway for those healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. A two-year course completion card is given at the end of the class.

Basic First Aid

This 1.5-hour lecture course covers basic first aid procedures, including injury assessment and appropriate medical response during an emergency. Includes a certificate of completion for all successful participants.

Bloodborne Pathogen

Meets OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 requirements. This 1.5-hour training class for up to twenty employees covers definitions, personal protective equipment, emergency notification procedures, signs and labels, development of training records and use of the Exposure Control Plan. A one-year course completion card is given at the end of the class.

First Aid Training with CPR/AED 

This 6.5-hour, hands-on course for up to ten employees, covers the basics of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, foreign body airway obstruction (Heimlich Maneuver), use of an AED and hands-on First Aid topics such as victim assessment, treatment of shock, poison emergencies, bleeding control, burns, bandaging and splinting. This class can be split into two sessions at an additional cost. A two-year course completion card is given at the end of the class.

First Aid with CPR/AED & BBP Training

This 8-hour hands-on course for up to ten employees covers the basics of CPR, foreign body airway obstruction (Heimlich Maneuver) and hands-on First Aid topics such as victim assessment, treatment of shock, poison emergencies, bleeding control, burns, bandaging and splinting. It also includes Bloodborne Pathogens which touches upon bloodborne diseases and workplace transmission, personal protective equipment, universal precautions, your written Exposure Control Plan and much more. The class can be split into two sessions. A two-year course completion card for CPR/AED and, a one-year course completion card for BBP, are given at the end of the class.
